 Gate Information: 

Legend Hollow Restricted Gate Access and Information

The access gate system is a “limited access gate” which assists in limiting access from those whom don’t reside in the community.
The gate system is not a security gate and cannot guarantee the safety of your family, home and personal property however, you may assist in maximizing the features the gate system offers by understanding how the gate access system works.

There are 2 types of codes:
 
Gate directory code – this code is assigned to you by the gate system when the phone number you provided is programmed in the gate directory. Using this code, individuals will not have to scroll through the list of names. This code is ok to provide to others as a shortcut – because you as the homeowner control the access.
 
How it works:
Guest arrives at the gate, scrolls thru & finds your name or enters the “#” and then the gate directory code. The gate system calls the number you provided (guests do not see your phone number) you answer and the guest identifies him or herself. If you choose to allow the guest access, you press “9” and the gate will open, if you do not wish to allow the guest access you simply hang up.

The gate directory code is the best option to provide access to service vendors such as; food delivery, one-time vendors, etc…. who do not need access to the community on a regular basis.


Entry code – this code is chosen by the homeowner for direct access into the community. This code should not be given out freely – as it provides direct access any time of day/night.

How it works:
You arrive at the gate and enter your personal entry code and the gate opens – providing direct access. The entry code is for you and immediate family.

Family should be reminded not to give out the personal entry code.

If you have a vendor(s)/contractor(s) that comes to service your home on a regular basis, such as weekly/monthly, contact DAMC to set up a vendor code(s).

Additionally, if you are going to hold an event at your home and/or hired a contractor that will need to have access for a limited time to complete work; you are welcome to email DAMC at accesscontrol@damctx.com to request a temp code which can be set up to expire on a particular date of your choosing.
